About Antonio Pizoni &
Pizoni Painting Company
I started this company in Bothell in 2012 with one truck, a HVLP sprayer and a policy of never cutting corners on surface prep. Fourteen years later the policy has not changed.

My Story
I grew up around construction — my father was a plasterer in the 1980s and I spent summers watching him skim coat commercial interiors in downtown Seattle. I started as a painter's helper at 18, ran my first crew at 22, and by 2009 I was managing exterior repaint jobs on large Eastside homes for another company. In 2012 I got my Washington State contractor license, bought a used F-250 and a Graco sprayer, and went out on my own.
The first year I did mostly interior work in Kirkland and Bothell — single rooms, apartment turnovers, ceiling repaints after water damage. The water-damage work taught me the one rule I have never broken since: moisture-meter everything before you prime it. I once re-did a patch job from another contractor that was bubbling at 6 months. The moisture reading under that patch was 24%. They had painted over wet drywall. I cut it all out, re-framed the damaged section and started over. The client has not called back with any problems in eight years.
By 2016 I had a crew of three and was taking on full exterior repaints and kitchen cabinet jobs. I got my EPA RRP certification in 2017 because the older neighborhoods I was working in — Shoreline, Kirkland, parts of Bothell — have significant pre-1978 housing stock and I wanted to handle lead-safe work correctly, not just adequately.
Credentials
Washington State Contractor License
Licensed by WA Department of Labor & Industries. General liability and workers compensation insurance carried on every job. Certificate available on request.
EPA RRP Certified — Lead-Safe Work Practices
Required for any paint disturbance on homes built before 1978. I carry the certification and follow full containment and disposal protocol on qualifying jobs. This is not optional under federal law — it matters in Kirkland, Shoreline, Edmonds and older Seattle neighborhoods.
Sherwin-Williams Pro Account
Access to commercial-grade products not available at retail, including SW Duration, Emerald Exterior, and Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel at contractor pricing. Paint quality directly affects how long your job holds up — I do not substitute cheaper products.
How I Work
Every job starts with a free in-person estimate. I measure, assess surface condition, note any moisture or adhesion issues, and produce a written scope with itemized pricing before any work starts. No verbal agreements, no surprise add-ons.
I do not subcontract to whoever is available that week. Every crew member who works on your home has worked with me for at least one full season. I know how they prep, how they cut in, and how they leave a job site.
After the job is done I leave you a touch-up kit — the paint code, a small container of the finish coat, and a fine brush. Small scuffs from moving furniture should not require you to call a painter back.
My phone is (425) 287-3619. I answer it. If I am on a job site I call back the same evening.
Service Area
I work primarily in Snohomish and King County — Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, Issaquah, Everett, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Shoreline, Seattle, and surrounding cities. I do not take jobs more than 45 minutes from Bothell because I need to be able to get there if something needs attention after the job is done.
